Steelo (www.steelomusic.com) is a Seattle-area R&B/Hip Hop duo who debut single “Let It Roll” has roughly 450 spins nationally, including rotation at Power 106 in Los Angeles, Wired 96.9 in Spokane and Sirius Satellite Radio. Their follow up single “Make Up My Mind” will hit radio this summer, along with a music video on major networks. The Hip Hop Chronicle says “The lyricist A.Uno brings smooth delivery and is a muliti-lingual emcee (English, Spainish and Farsi), while Bobby K brings soulful melodies and harmonies. Simply put, he is the voice’.”
They recently opened for Pitbull in Seattle, have appeared at Hot Import Nights in support for Sean Kingston, at the Lowrider Car Show in Portland and have also opened for Mobb Deep, Digital Underground, Baby Bash, Lil Rob and Lloyd Banks.
In addition, Steelo conducts a student empowerment program, an in-school workshop that discusses with students realizing aspirations, strategizing a path to success and measuring the results. Steelo reflects on their experience in the music industry as an example of achieving both personal and professional goals. They have appeared at Mariner High School, Foster High School, the CASHE Conference at Washington State University and MEChA Conference at Western Washington University.
